Update released!

changes:

different backgrounds for each level, fixed animation speed for monsters, added a new monster, fixed gme over text, made monsters spawn at random locations which makes the game more challenging and fun to play

In the next update I will add sound and music.

Created for the LOVE game jam with the jam theme being "Protect"

This is my first experience using the LOVE programming software, so I'm making a simple game called Pocket Protector in which you control a pocket protector that shoots pens and pencils at enemies that try to eat your master's shirt.

CONTROLS:

Arrow keys and W,A,S,D keys - move player

Z key - shoot pens in the direction you are facing
